In the North, Storm No. 2 is expected to cause heavy rain in many areas, especially coastal provinces from Quang Ninh to Nam Dinh. Rainfall can reach 200-300 mm in 24 hours. Strong winds level 6-7, gusts level 8-9. Hanoi, Hoa Binh, and Thai Nguyen will also be affected by heavy rain, causing flooding and landslides in mountainous areas.
The Central region will be strongly affected by this storm, especially the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien-Hue.
